Marie-Noëlle de Callataÿ, soprano

The Belgian soprano, Marie-Nöelle de Callataÿ, began her singing studies at the age of 15 with Greta De Reyghere.
After 3 years, she entered the Conservatoire de Musique de Bruxelles in Jules Bastin's class, where she obtained the first prize in concert singing and lyric art and the diploma superior of opera singing with the greatest distinction.
She obtained a grant of the Fondation Belge de la Vocation, which allowed her to study in London with Vera Rozsa.

Marie-Nöelle de Callataÿ appeared in the operas Dido and Aeneas by Purcell (Dido and Belinda), Don Giovanni (Zerlina) and Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart (Suzanna).
She has given many recitals of Lieder and chamber music and has taken part in oratorios in Belgium and abroad (Netherlands, Italy, UK).
In December 1989 she toured in the USSR with Sylvia Traey. She recorded a CD of Peter Philips with the Ensemble Currende.

Marie-Nöelle de Callataÿ is prize-winner finalist of the International Competitions of Singing of 's Hertogenbosch and of the Queen Elizabeth Competition.

Angélique Noldus, mezzo soprano​

A graduate of ISTI (Higher Institute of Translators and Interpreters/Brussels) and the Conservatories of Liège and Brussels, Belgian mezzo-soprano Angélique Noldus attended several masterclasses at the La Monnaie Opera Studio before becoming a member of Opera Studio Nederland in Amsterdam.

She enjoys an international career in a wide-ranging repertoire that has taken her to opera houses and concert halls such as the Paris Opera, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Semperoper Dresden, the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, the BAM in New York, the Metropolitan Opera, the Dutch National Opera, the Opéra de Lyon, the Opéra National du Rhin, the Cité de la Musique, the Palau Música Catalana, and the Theater an der Wien, under the direction of conductors such as Louis Langrée, Michel Plasson, Speranza Scappucci, Christophe Rousset, Leonardo Alarcon, Hartmut Haenchen, Alain Altinoglu, Patrick Davin, Antonello Manacorda, Vincent Dumestre, and Laurence Equilbey, and stage directors such as Olivier Py, Pierre Audi, Robert Carsen, Laurent Pelly, André Engel, Thomas Jolly, and Romeo Castellucci.

Angélique Noldus has recorded Bradamante (Alcina/Handel), Alinda/Amore (Giasone/Cavalli), Blumenmädchen (Parsifal/Wagner), Thea (Frühlings Erwachen/Mernier), Geneviève (Pelléas et Mélisande/Constant), and Mozart's Requiem (Ambronay Festival).

Passionate about sharing her knowledge, she is the current coach at La MM Academy, a professional integration and immersion program at La Monnaie that recruits top singers from conservatories and music schools across Belgium.

 

Pascale Montauban

Originally from Ghent, the hometown from the Brothers Van Eyck, Pascale Montauban took her first steps in cultural management in 1987 by creating the agency "The Mystic Lamb." This platform was dedicated to promoting classically trained musicians and singers on the one hand, and visual artists on the other. A bad match. And despite being familiar with both art worlds, she was forced to make a choice. The “Lamb” was shelved, so that the agency could devote itself entirely to classical music. Two years later, the agency established a branch in Salzburg, thanks to its partnership with the Salzburger Schloßkonzerte, a legendary institution known worldwide for its "international stage for young talent" and for its concert series at the Mirabell Castle, the Mozarteum, and the Salzburg Residence, featuring ensembles and soloists, among others from the Berlin, Vienna, and Chicago Philharmonic Orchestras. In this context, Pascale Montauban was also a co-founder of the Brussels-Salzburg Festival, which took place alternately in Brussels and Salzburg from 1991 to 1995, until Austria's accession to the European Union. A highlight was the organization of the Mozart Festival in Brazil, in co-production with the “Stiftung Mozarteum Argentina”, the South American division of the Mozarteum in Salzburg. An unforgettable concert tour during the rich Mozart year of 1991.

Upon her complete return to Belgium in 1996, Pascale Montauban was offered a merger between her agency and the Gaston Ariën concert agency, then headed by her Lieder coach, the baritone Albrecht Klora. Founded in 1928 by Gaston Ariën, this agency was the very first to invite the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra back to Belgium after World War II. She was also instrumental in the creation (in 1955) of the so called “De Philharmonie”, today named as ASO (Antwerp Symphony Orchestra). In 2028, the Ariën, Arts & Music Management agency will celebrate its centenary. Its current activities are largely focused on the field of opera. In addition to organizing audition coaching for opera singers, the agency is committed to supporting and promoting their international careers. The same applies to conductors and opera directors. The agency also represents pianists, violinists, cellists, and other instrumentalists (various wind instruments), both in recital and in concert with orchestral accompaniment. With a strong affinity for chamber music, the agency works tirelessly to promote this magnificent repertoire. Since 2007, Pascale Montauban has been a regular guest lecturer at the conservatories of Ghent, Antwerp, and Brussels, where she prepares candidates for auditions. She also occasionally works in opera studios, notably at the International Opera Academy (IOA) in Ghent. In Belgium, Pascale Montauban served on the jury for the inaugural International Competition for Opera Conductors, organized by the Polycarpe Foundation and the Royal Opera House of Wallonia (2017), as well as for singing competitions in Verviers, Braine-l'Alleud (Bell'arte Foundation), Namur (CIALN), Brussels (Triomphe de l'Art), and the international singing competitions in Pienza, Filignano (Mario Lanza), Pamplona, and Cologne (MHKöln).

​​​​​​​​​ANNICK GARSO studied at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, where she earned master's degrees in piano (Diane Andersen's class), chamber music and accompaniment.

She is an accompanist at Arts au Carré (Royal Conservatory of Mons) in the vocal department of Axel Everaert and A.C. Gillet, as well as in the cello class (David Cohen and Han Bin Yoon) and viola class (Marc Sabbah).

In addition to her teaching activities, she is regularly invited to perform at festivals, concerts, and masterclasses in France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, China and Africa.

For eight years, she collaborated with the Lyric Studio at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi under the direction of Marcel Vanaud and Cécile Bolle.

She also competes as a pianist in the Bell'Arte competition in Braine-l'Alleud (Belgium) and the Triomphe de l'Art competition in Brussels.

​​YUJIN LEE is an internationally accomplished soloist, chamber musician, and educator whose career spans South Korea, Europe, and Africa. 

Her music studies began at SunHwa art school. During her master’s program, a pivotal encounter with Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri at a masterclass led her to Paris, France, where she earned her Piano Diploma at the prestigious École Normale de Musique ‘Alfred Cortot’. She continued her advanced training in Belgium, completing postgraduate degrees in Piano Solo Performance and Collaborative Music at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, followed by a Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the Lemmens Institute in Leuven.

She has participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists including Maria Curcio, Oxana Yablonskaya, Jerome Lowenthal, Robert Hamilton, Phillip Kawin, Philippe Entremont, Yong Hee Moon, François-René Duchâble, Michel Béroff, Jean-Philippe Collard, Josep Colom, France Clidat, ...

Demonstrating exceptional talent from an early age, Lee won the Hankook Ilbo Competition and captured the Grand Prix at the National Youth Music Concours in Korea. She also established a strong reputation as an accompanist, earning the "Best Collaborative Pianist" award for two consecutive years at the International Voice Competition “Bell’Arte” in Belgium.

Her performances have included solo recitals, chamber music concerts, duo recitals, and concerto appearances at venues in Europe, south Korea and Africa.

YuJin Lee is also a soloist of Milal Ensemble, actively performing chamber and contemporary repertoire in Belgium and abroad.

She currently serves as Professor of Piano at the Africa Institute of Music (AIM) in Uganda and Piano faculty at the Academie voor Podiumkunsten Overijse (APKO) in Belgium.​​​​​
